O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave?
| |

O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand, Between their loved home and the war's desolation! Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause. it is just, And this be our motto: "In God is our trust" And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

O suffer not her feet to stray; But guide her untaught might, That she may walk in peaceful day, And lead the world in light. Bring down the proud, lift up the poor, Unequal ways amend; By justice, nation-wide and sure, America befriend! Through all the waiting land proclaim The gospel of good-will; And may the joy of Jesus' name In every bosom thrill. O'er hill and vale, from sea to sea, Thy holy reign extend; By faith and hope and charity, America befriend
